Our booster committee met again earlier this month to discuss plans for the upcoming season.  In attendance were parent representatives from all of our seniors.  Glen and Stacy Squire will also be representing our underclassmen parents.  We discussed a variety of topics including, leadership and team retreats, game program fundraising, and team traditions and get-togethers.  There were several terrific ideas and tremendous support from parents.  We outlined plans to pay for team expenses including senior night, awards banquet, and the Nike tournament in Phoenix, Arizona in December.
Exciting new plans include adding inspirational speakers to team dinners, the return of the paper airplanes to half-time events, and a “pink” home game to show our support for the fight against breast cancer including pink shooting shirts, socks, shoe laces, and game ball.   I am convinced that we have the most dedicated, hardest working, parents in any program.  Please pledge your support and volunteer when called upon to help from these terrific leaders.  More info will follow shortly regarding program ad sales, red/white scrimmage help, and retreat help.
